Worksafe CC has been established in 1996 and was primarily involved in training and consultation within the Health, Safety, Security, Risk Assessment and Risk / Loss Management sector, with over 12,000 trained individuals.
In 2016 Worksafe was converted to (Pty) Ltd, and with a new vision of getting training to thousands of people that need it but can’t afford it, as such the Bursary program was developed get local companies to agree to pay for the bursaries in return, they get Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) points, and help resolve the education crisis in South Africa that is a positive Public Relationship boost for the companies.
An Online platform was developed so that we can reach the people that needs the training the most, due to the infrastructure the students had minimal expenditure to get qualified and Worksafe can now reach into all 9 provinces.
Since the new vision and implementation late 2016 to end 2018 Worksafe has trained an addition 5,000 students through the bursary program.
The Worksafe platform has been upgraded and are looking to do an additional 10,000 bursaries in 2019 calendar year.
